Peggy began playing music professionally at the age of 13. She plays guitar, bass guitar, and keyboards and
began writing songs at the age of 9. With fake I.D. in hand, she played many clubs in the Chicago and
Wisconsin area for years. She started singing in a band called Fire and Rain which played the hotel circuit.
She was a lead singer of her own band Nightwatch, which became Peggy Lane and Nightwatch at the urging
of an agent. She toured for 2 years playing in many clubs all over the country. Her band Promise was signed
to a recording contract. That label soon went bankrupt and a move to Hollywood came soon after to pursue
a record label deal. She and Steve Bruha co-wrote all of their songs.
Once in Hollywood, her band Promise was signed again, but this time to another label. Around this time,
Peggy began pursuing acting again. She appeared in episodes of Hunter, recurred on the Fox show The Edge
which featured Jennifer Aniston and Wayne Knight among others, recurred on Seinfeld as a coffee shop
waitress and other characters, Will and Grace as a cab driver and a woman in a coffee shop, recurred
on King of Queens playing Virginia Heffernan and a woman in a child rearing class as well as a Strawberry
Ice Cream Cone. She most recently is the “voice of The Middle” with Patricia Heaton airing on ABC. She is
the on set voice and has been heard as a woman in a crisis center, and a flight attendant in the episode
Hecks On A Plane.
She also appeared on The Tonight singing with Jason Alexander.
